I'm not sure about the geektool script, but I like the overall look so far.

Don't you guys realize that the reason all these half credible sources are saying all this wishy washy stuff is because Apple is keeping this launch under tighter wraps than any other after what happened with the iPhone 4. Regardless of what they do, we all know it will be phenomenal and ground breaking, but I seriously doubt anyone will get a sneak peak any time soon.

You cannot officially resize the NTFS format, although apparently with the right tools some people have successfully done it. I tried, everything was in tact, but it wouldn't boot.
The best option would be to reinstall. Your license key will still work after the reinstall. (Source (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/will-windows-7-key-still-work-after-reinstall/601b112a-24fe-4628-a821-f5ca214c133d))

Talk pages are now world editable.
can encourage questions and discussion from anyone I suppose. we'll see how it goes.
Also have the ability to open up certain pages to anonymous editing. may prove useful.

So sad to see cars getting huge front and rears, and the trunk and hoods seem to be 1 ft+ above the wheel wells. Ugly IMO. Bring back low slung cars like the older Jags...
I'll buy used before getting something bloated like above. (though I prefer to buy used anyway....)So sad that cars in that price range are STILL only 200ish HP.... Though to be honest, I hate when people speed in a non-sports car....

Can Apple really stop TJ Maxx from selling their iPads?
I thought the Authorised Reseller Programme was just that: an "Apple-certified" or "Apple-approved" reseller? Surely any reseller who doesn't have this "sign of approval" still can sell the iPad?
I don't really know the answer to that since every store which I've seen here in the UK which sells Apple products are authorised resellers.
Sorry if it's obvious, it's just that the response makes it sound like only retailers approved by Apple can sell their products; sort of like a cease and desist threat.

so let get this straight AT&T is pretty much going to increase the number of minutes I do not use every month. My family already is on the lowest family plane for 5 lines and still put over 500 Roller in the account for per month. Well currently we lose about that many per month.
Guess the roll over will increase since we will not be using even more minutes.

10 GB bandwidth?
This can't possibly mean 10 GB/s, can it?
Edit: I just realised that they mean 10 GB traffic, not bandwidth.

Why should people who just want to read the news be compelled to provide the FT with personal information in order to do so? Why does the FT need to know my name, address, phone number, etc.?
Because the Financial Times wants it that way. The company offers its content to subscribers under certain conditions, and it is free do so. If the company should not be allowed to do that for the sake of consumer protection, then there should be laws to prohibit such practice. If you personally do not agree with the conditions of the subscription, then you are always free to decide not to subscribe. If it turns out that their decision keeps customers from subscribing, then they might choose to reconsider.
With regard to subscriptions on iOS, I think that Apple simply goes too far and should leave content providers the freedom to offer their content in their way, based on their subscription models. As the Financial Times has stated, under the current terms of the App Store, subscriptions via iOS do not meet their expectations because they cannot provide the content in the way they would like to.
On a side note, I wonder whether Apple violates competition rules. When I remember correctly, the iPad had a considerable market share on the tablet market. One could argue that Apple abuses its market position to impose their own (unfair) conditions on publishers.

I hear what you are saying, and I certainly didn't mean to imply that I'm not guilty of the same things. I've been using "gay" as a negative adjective for 30 years, like a lot of other people. But every time I do it, I think of what my very close gay friends would say about me using it that way. Whether they specifically would be offended by it is one thing, but the point is that it just isn't right to commandeer that word and use it as an insult or detractor when there really is no reason that it should be.
Where it gets interesting is that "gay" as a descriptor came into fashion when "queer" was deemed too possibly offensive. I wouldn't be surprised, if we were to move past "gay" as a parallel pejorative, some other word would pop up to take its place.
In this case, maybe you, me, and all of us need to work on changing pop culture and getting it out of a grade-school mentality. As long as Kobe was fined because he did a piss-poor job of acting professionally and as a role model rather than just "hurting the ref's feelings," that's a start.
Pop culture has that lowest common denominator appeal about it; that's why it's popular. Good luck on raising that bar. But let's not kid ourselves here - he was fined for PC reasons, albeit trivially so given the size of his paychecks. Otherwise, we wouldn't be seeing half of the NBA tripping over themselves to issue statements and apologies and conduct investigations.
