although this doesn't fit 100% to your case. You may want to look at the attached administrative appeals office decision.
Essentially, a person was denied in eb2 because they had a 3 yr bsc and 2 year masters. they had education evaluationstating that masters indian degree was equal to us masters degree.
nebraska service center stated that 3+2 is not equal to masters degree. Admininstrative appeals office decision approved it saying that it didn't matter how long the combined study was. As long as foreign masters equals us masters then that is all which needs to be proven.
My experience has been that texas service center sends an rfe for this 3+2 education. I know of 8 cases where thie decision was shown in the rfe and they all 8 got approved. I know of one case in nebraska where this case was shown and they still denied it stating that it wasn't a precedent decision (person already had another 140 denied and there was some history in his case which i believe caused nebraska to deny it). We need to heavily bomb our senators by letters and phone calls. Although most of people here are busy filing all the documents, please take a time to call/write THREE senators:

Which center did u visit in PA?? I'm from PA also DL expires 9/30/07 along with H1..
PennDot Issued 1 year driver's license for both me and my wife. We took H1B 8th year original receipt notice, original employer verification letter and passports. PennDot issued 1 year license based on that. Everything took less than 15 minutes.Please make sure your employer verification letter states your employment duration i.e. how long your company intents to employ you.

This does not affect our efforts due to many reasons:

It serves one purpose: after the abramoff scandal, you will not see lobbyist of the ex-congressman variety physically present in the house floor or the house gym lifting weights with the congressmen.
2. Lobbying - the legwork and logistics - happens mostly at the staff level. The top guys only establish initial working relationship. The rest of the work happens between the staff of the lobbyist and the staff of the congress member.

Strange, this guy gets banned, but the person that opened a thread seeking advise on his "shop-lifting" immigration advice, does not. Wonder what our standards are with regards to banning people.

Shoplifting does not divide EB population. But if you open a thread to pitch EB3 against EB2 then I think he should be banned. I can click the red triangle on top of post to report it because I do not think anyone in IV or any senior member has time to waste all day reading every post and deleting them.

Here is my dilemma--
MY INFO---
Occupation -- Physician
EB2, INDIA, PD APR 2006, EAD renewed till sept 2010, H1 valid till feb 2010 (non-profit company), I-140 approved, I-485 filed July 2007
I have a very good job offer and I really want to get out of my present job. They expexct me to start work next year in about apr 2008-- The new job is not in my present state but I am freaked out about using AC 21 for following reasons:
-New company has no clue about H1 and they cannot file H1 any way because they are "for profit" and my h1 is presently from non profit and the QUOTA is now over. My occupation still remains same -(I am a physician ---no way to change occupation -- still have to do same job !)
-New company can only give me a generic letter for employment (EVL) ---
"To whomsoever ---etc..it may concern..and only briefly describing my title and job description"
--- My questions to respected IV members
1) should I invoke Ac 21 ??-- I am worried that the EVL may not meet USCIS needs as it may not be fully detailed
2) The other option I have is to take a leave of absence from my present company for one year and start working for the new company? IN this case what happens if I get RFE for EVL ? Which company should I say I am working for present or the future ?
PLEASE HELP I am very confused--- I strongly feel that the leave of absence might be an insurance policy but I don't know how to approach it !!
If you are past 180 days after filing 485 you can change jobs using H1b transfer or EAD. If you use EAD it does not matter if it is profit or non profit.
Your new employer can send letter in any format, but 99% chances that your AC21 will never reach your file - because there is no system in place for it. USCIS treat AC21 letter as response to an RFE - so if you change job you are fine - make sure you update your address on file so that if they send an RFE, you can respond to it, always use a lawyer for everything. In case your ex employer requests USCIS to revoke your 140 then you may get a NOID which is also treated as an RFE. A lot of Visa Officers do not know about AC21 portability - I met one such officer during Infopass and she had no clue about it - may send a denial on 485 - in such cases your case can be reopened through MTR.
You may not even get an RFE at times and things could just be as fine. Hope this helps.
Also consult with an Attorney - it really really helps

Why don't we all campaign to ask for a time out on all immigration. Just stop all immigration until it is fixed. :D:D
Because accordiing to your post you want your geencard but do not want others who filed in perm to proceed further.
In my proposal, if I cannot get my greencard, then nobdy else should. This is more fair.:D

We all know, Priority Date is not used for prioritising approvals. It is just a date on your application, which can stop your application from progressing further, if looked at, at the wrong time. Why not simply ask for approving in PD order.

I ran these through my program but it is returning NULL.
I guess each object needs to have a voting property or Lobby class attached to it. Without that you will only get Null values in return.
